7 days + 150 gallons + 30 hours + 4 loads wood = maple syrup
1 week of seemingly nice weather ( plus 12 inches of snow)
150 + gallons of sap
drip, drip, drip
30+ hours of tending to the boiling
4 wheelbarrows of firewood
Equals
3 gallons of Heritage Hill Farm Maple Syrup
Wonder why the real stuff costs so much?
